"The minute breakdown in the email version of our chat" (Jim Krull)

It is very strange to see the minute
Breakdown in the email version of our chat
Earlier. It shows the rate of typing/thought/business/distraction
By the minute. One must also account for the technical delays,
Etc.
This is pretty much John Cage in action.
(but perhaps backwards(as in the "measuring"
is done not by the art side (the writing)
but through the nature of the (computer) program.
why would it need to show by the minute breakdowns?
Not for an artistic reason.)

Politics of certain poems (Eliot Cardinaux)

Reason for having two sections to a poem.

Using I, II, the numerals to map out
(in this case) two opposing ideas,
the last line of the first
and the first line of the second related
the sections; if inversed
(i.e. without the numbers)
they are related as one,
only as a whole, which was un-agreeable
to the opposing ideas at hand.

Thoughts - November 24th, '10 (Eliot Cardinaux)

Just got off of three days work
with the kids
at the Cutchin's school.
Much to be, I hope,
I love it there.

Would like to live nearby
too, if it seems possible.

At school it is relaxed.
I can help kids work
while I
work on the blog, etc.

Wrote a poem at
school -

..."What we
the children too

make-
       do,
is igneous."

I thought the pun on
ingenius was obvious enough..

later on I realized that
The word for flame
comes from the word
ignite:

igneous

rock made from melting
other rock.

I find it so hard
that in three days
so much was felt,
and now it is time
for this

unemployment blues
to start again.

My mother and father,
to live with...

They're nice people.

Only to imagine
there are those out
there

who would choose
to live with them
(i.e. a parent;
  parents...)

Money cannot be
the only thing there is
to worry about,

but not the end of the world.

Poem VI from "Small Poems" (Eliot Cardinaux)

The grain of the rock,
makes voice grainy
                        travels
across the room.

intent
      on
      what it is,
what we
the children too

make-
        do,
is igneous.
